I started my career as a physiotherapist, with a postgraduate in manual therapy. Treating patients one by one, I kept seeing how a good medical device could help many more people at the same time.
I believe medical devices add a great deal to how diseases are diagnosed, treated and prevented. That is why I moved into the medical device market.
I started at a small Belgian company, then joined a global medical technology manufacturer. There I worked in a West European team, with a primary focus on Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. The portfolio ran from capital equipment and diagnostics to patient handling, hospital beds, surgical equipment, consumables and disposables.
I helped launch new products: how to bring them to market, and how to position and price them. I ran regular reviews, internally and with distributors, and worked on hospital tenders.
I live and work between Belgium and Finland. That gives me easy access to the Benelux, the Nordics and the countries around them.
